Q: How long have you been working in the art community?
A: I started doing art back in 2007. My Super Nintendo was not working one night and I was bored and started doodling on paper, out of nothing. It was a good feeling, somehow relaxing- so I went to the art shop the next day to buy some colors and brushes. What started as a hobby became a passion and now it is my job. I am selling artworks since 2008 but the art business got more serious around 2014.

My name is Sherren Olivia. I am a singer-songwriter from Chicago, IL. I love music and have been singing since I was a child. I began singing in church at a young age and continued to sing throughout my life in choirs. In college, I was introduced to recording and songwriting where I started to work with other musicians. I released my first two songs in 2015 on Soundcloud. I remember hoping that song would get to 500 plays and never imagined that something I wrote in my dorm room would reach over 100,000 people.
My first album "Oasis" was released this past February 2022. My journey has just begun and I am very excited to continue growing as an artist and make more music. I want to encourage anyone who loves to make music and create art to never stop creating. Create things that you like and do not try to create for others.
