Q: What is Egostrip? Where did the idea come from?
A: Egostrip is a self-initiated project that started on my train journey from Brighton to London. Organically in the way, it started as a thank you to Paradise Grey (X Clan), Pete Rock, and Rakim for showcasing and speaking on my work.

Q: What are some items that you sell?
A: I mostly sell originals and I take commission work (custom pieces and murals). I paint on people’s surfboards, helmets, skateboards, guitars, etc.

A: It would be dance, music, and being involved in the Film industry, simply because I feel I was purely destined to be a part of the entertainment industry. I do very well in this field.

Q: Where do you get the ideas for your beats? How do you make one sound multiply into others?
A: God blesses me with dreams of melodies that echo in my head when I wake up. I got about a ten-minute window to start it before I lost it completely, then stuff also just pops into my head. I am very easily inspired, I can create anything at any time.

My name is Sherren Olivia. I am a singer-songwriter from Chicago, IL. I love music and have been singing since I was a child. I began singing in church at a young age and continued to sing throughout my life in choirs. In college, I was introduced to recording and songwriting where I started to work with other musicians. I released my first two songs in 2015 on Soundcloud. I remember hoping that song would get to 500 plays and never imagined that something I wrote in my dorm room would reach over 100,000 people.
My first album "Oasis" was released this past February 2022. My journey has just begun and I am very excited to continue growing as an artist and make more music. I want to encourage anyone who loves to make music and create art to never stop creating. Create things that you like and do not try to create for others.
