Sitting With Sin The Slime
Q: Where did the name Sin the Slime come from?
A: Sin is everything I have seen and been through. However, I never let what I have been through define my life, but more so guide it. I have accepted my Sins and became a walking Melody.
Q:What do you like to do for fun?
A: I like to write, but I hate to read. I like Documentaries, hikes.. shit like that. If anything tho, I just like to create.
Q: How do you stick to your roots of who you are in this industry?
A: Being who you are creates waves. And the wave I am creating everybody wants to surf it. Be you and trust your higher self. That is how I stick to my roots.
Q: What made you want to make and perform music?
A: I have always had an ear for music. I can dissect beats, sounds, rhythms, keys, everything. My soul understands it. It is just who I am. I am designed to make music. It is how I am going to make a change. Change for the better.
Q:What is the meaning behind the song Wristwatch?
A: Wristwatch really just means that... the time in my life right now is frozen. The clock is not ticking. This is my time to master my craft. When my spirit breaks it will speak for itself. Once 2020 hits it’s over for the culture. Because I am here to bring some shit ain’t nobody seen in years. Sinny finna take oveerrrrrrr.
Q: What can you tell the public about what you are working on now?
A: Right now I am working on my project “The Life Of Sin”. I got a few hit producers on it. Like YNW Melly’s, Stunna Girls etc. and A few more that I am not gonna speak on. I like to let my audience starve, it will keep em hungry. Cause once I drop it is finna real get crazy. I love my fans though.
Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: I would say that I am dope asf.
Q: What is your goal venue to perform at and why?
A: Madison Square Garden. And I say that because I remember at a young age watching the movie “Glitter” with Mariah Carey. Glitter is about this girl named Billie who gets taken away from her mom at a young age and she ends up becoming an artist. She goes through all these trials and tribulations... and towards the end of the movie she performs at Madison Square Garden, and after she reunites with her mother. It is so heartfelt and it is really relatable. It is a deep ass movie. I just do not feel like explaining it lmaooo. Anywho, since then I have always said I was gonna perform there. And I know I am gonna do it.
Q: How does your music differ from other artists?
A: My music is different from other artists because I am making music that I like. And not what other people like. My shit bangs period because it sells. And if your music sells, and the people love you.. that’s it, that is all that matters. People love me for me.
Q: What is one strength and weakness that you have?
A: I think a strength of mine is... my intuition. I am very intuitive. But I also think it is my weakness because I do not like knowing everything.
