Catching up with APF’s youngest artist Jae Lynx

Q: In ten years what is one thing that you want to accomplish?

A: Definitely to buy my mom her own house or winning a Grammy.

Q: How old were you when you decided that this was a path you wanted to take?

A: I was about 13 years old when I figured out what I wanted to do in life. I just thought there is not a lot of ways to make it out the environment that I am in.

Q: How do you manage with being so young in the industry?

A: Well I am a youngin in the industry for sure but, my in my mind and heart I am like a grown man. I am my own adult and that is just how it always was growing up for me, with no father figure.

Q: What do you like most about performing?

A: I just love how the energy of the crowds get when they see a 15 year old boy on stage going crazy. That is when I just sit there and say “ohh shit”.

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

@jaelynx

A: My biggest inspiration would definitely have to be Trippe Redd. He is just a rockstar and does whatever the hell he wants to. Fye also is my inspiration because he speaks real life shit, that people can actually feel.

Q: What do you like to do the most during your free time?

A: Usually during my free time, like any boy, I will hop on the game or just write to some beats.

Q: If you could move anywhere, where would you move ?

A: I would definitely move to LA or Miami.

Q: What is your favorite part about the career path that you have chosen?

A: My favorite part of the path I have chosen has to be just the passion and love I have for being in the studio, making music and just relaxing.

Q: If you could tell the public anything about yourself, what would you like them to know?

A: If I could tell the public something about myself it would be, I love each and everyone of y’all and I would never give up on the path that I chose. I hope you guys do the same and make sure to follow your dreams. If I can do it you can do it!
