LATENIGHTJIGGY- ”Úsame”

LATENIGHTJIGGY continues to "steer and stir the pot" by mixing reggaeton and Latin urbano in his song "Úsame." The track explores the idea of sexual fantasies in a relationship while providing emotional support for one another. The lyrics suggest that a female confesses to having fantasized about him while portraying his desire to engage in an intimate relationship. Throughout the song, the man reassures the female that he will be there for her despite what she's gone through: "Y si me necesitas ma tú me tienes aquí."

The track's catchy beat begins when JIGGY rides in a classic beige cruiser. Leaning over to turn the stereo on, "Úsame" plays and guides the video in an aesthetic journey through the city and near an empty train station. The visuals switch back and forth in frames, keeping a repetitive pattern. In between shots are captured, presenting the rapper in his cruiser with his friends, dancing with a group of males and females, or in two locations at the empty train station. In all black, wearing a bandana print vest, sunglasses, and two gold chains, JIGGY sings his feelings to the camera as it switches to a fish-eye lens throughout the video. The close-up shots resemble his confidence as he only sings about his desire and praise towards the female in these frames, referring to her as "Eres la hija del destino, mi Beyonce Y yo tu Jay Z." As each shot captures medium and close up angles, we can capture the aesthetic of colorful clothing, bougie accessories and lean back dance moves making the video intriguing. He then sings, "You don't gotta be alone, 'Cause being by yourself can get cold, But I won't let you freeze'' and the beat takes on the reggaeton tempo. The artist expresses his reassurance of support to the female, and he presents the idea of his comfort by joining a group dancing together.

The play of Spanish and English within the song creates an enjoyable tune to keep your hips moving while you hope to find someone invested enough to desire you. LATENIGHTJIGGY can mesmerize and move you as the beat and his vocals persuade you to dance and catch on to his lyrical artistry.
