Interview with artist 9:18
Q: Where did the name 9:18 come from?
A: There’s a lot behind those 2 numbers, but 18 has always been my favorite for as long I can remember. To me it’s stands for my life story. The 9 represents creativity to me. So it’s my “time” to create based on my life story.
Q: Who would you like to collaborate with?
A: I would love to collaborate with Kanye west someday.
Q:Who is your biggest inspiration? What about them inspires you?
A: It’s safe to say that The Weeknd is my biggest inspiration. That was just the only artist who ever had me fully indulged in their world for years.
Q: What do you do when you aren’t working on music?
A: When I’m not working on music I’m working on my brand and business. If that’s not the case you might catch me playing ball or lifting weights.
Q: What is the something you would want the public to know about your newest project?
A:My next project that I’m releasing will not be in English.
Q: What is your favorite album of 2018?
A:This was actually a really tough question but if I had to chose one I would have to say Post Malone’s Beerpongs and Bentley’s.
Would you like to be featured?
Q: What do you enjoy specifically about A.L.I.E.N Entertainment?
A:My brothers Ben and Lito have been talking about A.L.I.E.N since the first day I met them a little over 2 years ago. What I most enjoy about it, is watching them have their hard work and commitment come to fruition in the form of an awesome entertainment brand that can be a good outlet for anyone creative.
Q:What is a long term goal with your career?
A: I just want to make timeless music and have that take me wherever it wants.
Q: When did you know music was going to be a big factor in your life?
A:When I started playing the piano and singing to girls lol.
Q: What made the guitar your instrument of choice?
A:The piano is actually my first instrument of choice, but the guitar is so on the go and has been part of my vision of me on stage since I was about 8-9. I really feel the guitar in my body when I get into it. I want I people to feel as close to what I feel as they can when they watch me play so I’ve been making it part of my identity as an artist.
