Brooklyn artist Noble Lyfe
Q: What song do you think made you stand out to the public? Why?
A: Stella. Stella was the first song where I feel like I put it all together finally. Before Stella, I showed flashes of the things people could possibly love about my music, but Stella had all of those elements. Story Telling, punchlines, melody, catchiness. All of those were in Stella and until this day it is my most popular song. I also think it’s still one of the hardest beats I have ever heard.
Q: How do you feel about releasing something after three years?
A: Well I have released songs I just have not released a project. I have always been against releasing projects as an up and coming artist because I usually put a lot of thought into a project and usually it is not appreciated because you do not have the crowd yet. It is easier to drop singles and gain attention that way and build steam. Shuffle is a playlist of singles though so I am excited because each song is kinda gonna be treated as such.
Q: What excites you the most about your upcoming project?
A: I think just having a good amount of music out at once. I am notorious for not having a lot of songs recorded or just not putting out music. I get in my own way too much. I am emptying the clip from now on.
Q: What do you want to do the most when all the social distancing stages are up?
A: Honestly, just probably play basketball. Get a haircut. Shoutout to Richard he is the best barber on the sods of the Mississippi lol. Honestly, I do not ever do much or get outta the house much and I am not looking forward to large crowds lol. But definitely miss my hair cuts and hoop sessions. Ooh also gonna go see my jeweler to fix my piece shoutout Avianne.
Q: How do you take the suggestions of your fans into consideration?
A: I take my fans suggestions into consideration moderately. I will say half and half because sometimes fans think they know what they want out of an artist but sometimes they do not know what they want until they get it.
Q: Did you pursue music in your college career? What did you study?
A: A: I did well. I knew I wanted to rap so I studied business management with a focus in arts and entertainment so I could learn the business side of music to an extent.
Q: What have your experiences with being featured on radio and radio interviews?
A: I do not think I have ever been interviewed for radio directly. I have had my music played on the radio which was really cool.
Q: What does a studio session with you look like?
A: A studio session with me looks like me locking in. I am pretty meticulous in the studio. I feel like I am an engineer's worst nightmare but at the same time, we make magic so it is worth it! Lol. I love freestyling in the studio but more times than not the song is already written before I get there to capitalize on time.
Q: How do you feel about your fans making TikTok Videos to your music?
A: TikTok is fire keep making videos to my songs on there so I can blow up and by my moms a crib
