Meet Rapper Jon Hope

Q: What about music made you fall in love to perform it not just listening to it?

A: It’s the rawness of performing that I love. You can buy followers, likes, and views but, you can’t buy or manipulate a live experience.

Q: Where did your inspiration come from, for your newest project? Where did you come up with the name?

A: My last project Savage Beauty was inspired by the youth. I tapped into those experiences of what it was like trying to navigate from what trapped me in with the hood to a peaceful state of mind. They both go hand in hand. You have to be savage in order to attain the beautiful parts of life.

Q: Who inspires you the most inside and outside the music community?

A: At this very moment, I draw inspiration from Nipsey Hussle and his approach towards the music industry. Especially the fact of how practical he is. His model and his behavior really inspired me to grow my company and scale up in 2019.

Q: What is something that motivates you the most?

A: My biggest motivation is that I have not written my best song yet or the amount of people that I have not been able to reach through my music. There is always more that i can do.

Q: In ten years where would you like to see yourself, what do you hope to accomplish?

A: In ten years I will be alive and well. I will be touring the world and having an even bigger impact on the city of Providence, particularly the youth.

A: I would love to work with Buddy and H.E.R.

Q: What is something you would like to tell the public on your newest project? Is is a video for one of your songs or maybe a new song?

A: My next project is going to be my most personal. I will be revealing a lot.

Q: If you could be sponsored by any brand who would it be and why?

A: I would love to work with Steve Stoute’s Translation Agency. I love their approach and the way they execute their projects and collaborations.
