Q: Where did Yung Black Lion come from? What made you create this?
YBL is a label I created along with a few of my closest friends and artists. We have always had a vision to stay independent as artists. So, we just put our heads together, did the research, and YBL became an independent label. With YBL there is a lot of different, great, sounds and great quality music. The best artists out basically.
Q: What do you want to get across to the people who listen to your music?
I just want them to understand how much it is okay to express how you feel with music. It helped me a lot. I have Been doing music since elementary school. It is just one of those things you just know you are better than some people at. Everyone has their thing. Go find your and be better.
Q: How did you feel about your Spotify wrapped for 2021? How do you feel that your music reached 77 different countries?
It was definitely a major achievement. I really want to thank my fans for the support and love. I also used it a motivation I want the WHOLE WORLD LISTENING.
Q: What is the importance on having the intro songs on your mixtapes?
I like to set the tone of my mixtapes with the first song, which is usually the “intro” of the mixtape. With the intro part 1 and 2, I wanted to have fun while working on my craft. I also got out the energy I am feeling. This is why I freestyle fifty percent of most my songs. I challenge myself to master my lane of music those songs are the results.
Q: What made you want to write a “love” song? What makes this song unique for you as an artist?
I grew up listening to a lot of R&B at family gatherings. I feel like I always had connections to love songs. Plus I have had my own love experiences, in my life, so it is easy for me to express myself through my music.
Q: What are some things that you have in the works right now? What can fans expect in the near future?

I do not want to say too much. I do have a new mixtape I am working on. Hopefully I will drop a single or two around the summer time. As well as visuals and then we will see
Q: Where do you want yourself to be, by the end of the year? How will you accomplish this?
I hope to be traveling and preforming more. I will do this by connecting, networking, promoting and create a hit single. Really making the most of the moment.
Q: Who’s sound in the industry do you like the most and why? This does not have to be your favorite rapper, it can be though!
I grew up around my older cousin, so I listened to Lil Wayne, obviously, Andre 3000, Drake, Aretha Franklin, Bon Jovi. I listen to great music. I love music so I am a fan a a lot of artists. My favorite sounding artists today would be YB, Lil Baby, Migos, Cardi B, Jasmine, Da Baby, Tory Lanez, and Trap Dickey. Not in that order though!
Q: Do you decide what you want to be put in your lyrical videos? What makes you pick the colors and graphics?
Actually I made that lyrical video myself just practicing and trying to get better with graphics. Trying to get better at the little things .
Q: What do you like to do for fun, when you are not making music or creating?
I spend time with my family. I am really active outside so I get some shoots up on the court I swim cookout with my people just try and enjoy life, nothing too much.
