Q: When did you know art was a going to be a big part of your life?

A: I was seven years old. My grandfather taught me how to draw a jasmine flower, from his Buddhist prayer books.

Q: Who is your all time favorite artist? Why?

A: My favorite artist is a street artist, named David Choe. His hustle and ambition is similar to mine. His art is profound and organic. He also doesn’t give a f**k and does whatever he wants.

Q: What is your preferred medium to work with?

A: Spray paint, paint markers, and acrylics.

Q: Have you used your art to comment on any social or political issues, if so how?

A: My last opening called “Joint”, portrayed the legacy of America, an how it effects our homelands in Southeast Asia, with genocide and warfare.

Q: As an artist how do you seek out new opportunities?

A: I paint with passion and dedication, opportunity finds me.

Q: What is your favorite piece you created and why?

A: I don’t have a favorite piece. I leave the emotions in my work and move forward.

Q: Do you have a new project coming along? What is something you can tell the public about it?

A: More shows. No reveals yet.
